Safe Storage Practices

Always:

  • Store fuel cells in a cool, dry location.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight.
  • Avoid storing near heat sources.
  • Store away from open flames and sparks.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Avoid storing fuel cells in vehicles during hot weather, as excessive heat can increase internal pressure.

 

Signs of a Faulty Fuel Cell

Stop using a fuel cell immediately if you notice:

  • Physical damage to the canister
  • Leaking gas
  • Strong fuel smells when not in use
  • Damaged valves
  • Signs of corrosion

Faulty fuel cells should be disposed of appropriately in accordance with local regulations.

 

Working Safely with Fuel Cells

When using Paslode fuel cells:

  • Never puncture or incinerate the canister.
  • Do not expose fuel cells to excessive heat.
  • Only use approved Paslode-compatible fuel cells.
  • Follow all manufacturer safety instructions.
