What battery can I use with my tool?Updated 9 months ago

It can be challenging to find the most suitable battery for you and that's why we make it as easy as possible for our customers to find what they need. You can view the batteries we sell on our website here.

Your battery type will depend on a number for different factors. Please see below:

  • The make and model of your tool
  • The voltage of your tool
  • Your intended run-time

Your make and model

We recommend using the same brand of batteries which match your tool. This helps improve the run time of your battery and ensures optimum performance. Using 3rd party batteries may damage your tool and could be a health risk to you and others around you.

Our most popular brands and their power technologies:

BrandPower Technology

Voltage is important

As a general rule of thumb, if your tool is a specific voltage, you would need to match this with your battery. Please see the table below to match your voltage of your tool to your battery:

How long will my battery last?

We're unable to specify or guarantee how long a battery will last on a single charge as multiple factors can impact this. To get the best performance from your battery, please ensure you're following these steps:

  • Make sure your battery is charged prior to use.
  • Charge your batteries between 10 °C - 40 °C and don't expose them to extreme low or high temperatures.
  • Avoid causing high impact to your batteries.
  • Follow your tool's manual for application directions.
