Battery Overheating

While it's normal for batteries to become warm during charging and operation, excessive heat should not be ignored.

Possible Causes

  • Continuous heavy use
  • Restricted airflow during charging
  • Faulty charger
  • Damaged battery cells
  • High ambient temperatures

Resolution

  • Stop using the battery and allow it to cool naturally.
  • Ensure charger vents remain unobstructed.
  • Avoid charging in direct sunlight or hot environments.
  • Check for visible signs of swelling or damage.

If overheating continues after cooling and testing, discontinue use immediately.
